A special Olympic sports day was held at Kibbutz Hatzerim

A special Olympic sports day was held at Kibbutz Hatzerim with the participation of approximately 100 girls and boys from the Be’eri community, and accompanied by Olympic and Paralympic athletes.

The event took place as part of the tradition of National Olympic Committees to celebrate Olympic Day – an international initiative aimed at promoting the values of sport, education, and solidarity.

Among the stations: fencing, wrestling, archery, athletics, and basketball.

Including this special community on International Olympic Day is an expression of the values of unity, inspiration, and hope that sport is able to generate – and strengthens the connection between the Olympic movement and Israeli society as a whole.
