Accessibility Statement

The Olympic Committee of Israel works to make its activities and website accessible to people with disabilities, in order to promote equal rights, dignity and transparency for all members of the public.

We are committed to providing an optimal user experience on this site for all users. Therefore, during the establishment of the site and in its ongoing maintenance, extensive efforts have been made to enable equal, respectful and accessible use.

What is an accessible website

An accessible website is a site that enables people with disabilities to browse, consume information and use the services offered on it, at a level as similar as possible to that of other users, using the computer or mobile device in their possession and, where relevant, with the help of assistive technologies.

Implementation of accessibility on the website

The accessibility adjustments on the website were carried out in accordance with Section C, Internet Services, of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations, Service Accessibility Adjustments, 5773-2013, and are based on Israeli Standard 5568, Guidelines for Accessibility of Online Content, which in turn is based on WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, subject to the changes and adaptations required by the Israeli standard.

The website is designed for optimal browsing in up-to-date versions of the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. The site is also adapted for use on mobile phones and tablets.

Limitations and clarifications

We make ongoing efforts to ensure that all pages and components on the site are accessible. However, it is possible that some parts of the site have not yet been fully adapted for accessibility, or that certain content depends on third-party systems and services, such as embedded external platforms, videos or documents.

We continue to improve and update the accessibility of the site on an ongoing basis, in accordance with technological developments and the needs of our users.
