      CANDIDATE APPLICATION

    • Scope. This section 4 outlines how we collect and use your personal data as part of our recruitment practices. Please note that this section 4 supplements the other sections of this Privacy Policy and applies to Israeli candidates only.
    • General Provisions. For the avoidance of doubt, when you apply for a position in the Committee, you agree to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. By submitting the personal data at your own free will, you agree that the Committee will use it to assess your suitability for the position to which you have applied; you understand that without providing your contact details, your resume, and relevant data related to your professional experience, the Committee will not be able to review your application and/or contact you in order to give you details and/or provide you with a response regarding your application.

    • Means of application submission and sources of collected personal data. We will receive personal data directly from you as well as from third parties, as follows:
      • Personal data collected from you directly. When you submit your resume and other data directly to any Committee’s members (via email, or otherwise) – your application will be processed internally.
      • Referees. We may need to ask for additional information about you, including personal data, from your referees including your current or past employer, coworkers, or friends.
    • Collected personal data. We will collect and process the following categories of personal data:
      • Biographical information, such as full name, gender, date of birth, age, professional experience, and photos.
      • Contact details, such as your home address, phone numbers, and personal email address.
      • Job-related information and qualifications, such as professional history, education, awards, qualifications, certificates, licenses, employment references, records of courses and training undertaken, and any other data you choose to provide in your resumes and/or applications.
      • References, such as letters, opinions, and comments of any previous employers or other individuals, such as friend’s recommendation who works at the Committee.
      • Inferences drawn from other personal data, such as a profile reflecting your preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities and aptitudes.
      • Other: Job interview notes, assessment results, and any other data you provide in connection with the recruitment process.
        Purposes. We will process your personal data for the following purposes:
        • to facilitate and manage your job application and our recruitment process, including meetings and interviews
        • to open and maintain your applicant records
        • to communicate with you
        • to assess your personal and professional capability and suitability for the position, including to assess your ability to perform the proposed job and to schedule an interview
        • to comply with legal obligations including conducting equal opportunity and diversity monitoring (where permitted or required by law)
        • to respond to law enforcement and governmental agency requests
        • to seek advice from lawyers, auditors and other professional advisers
        • to process your requests to exercise your rights
        • to manage pre-litigation or litigation and to establish, exercise, and defend legal and contractual rights claims
        • to analyze and improve our recruitment process
        • for security purposes, including to prevent, detect, or investigate fraud, suspected or actual illegal activity, violations of Committee policy or rules, or other misconduct; and to protect our property from theft, vandalism and damage
        • retaining the personal data for the purpose of offering other positions, unless you notify us that you request the deletion of your personal data after we notify you that you have not been selected to the position to which you applied.

    • Retention Period. We will retain your personal data for the duration of the recruitment process. We continue to retain your personal data unless you ask us to delete it after the cessation of the recruitment process. We will retain your personal data for the purpose of offering you other positions, unless you notify us that you request the deletion of your personal data after we notify you that you have not been selected to the position to which you applied. If the personal data is required by the Committee for legitimate interests reasons (e.g., legal disputes, prevent fraud and abuse) or the Committee is under a legal obligation to do so (e.g., record keeping, accounting) – the Committee shall retain the personal data for the period required by applicable laws. In addition, personal data on a candidate who has been hired will continue to be retained and becomes, from the date of his or her employment, subject to the Privacy Policy as applicable to the Committee's employees.

      WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

    • We will share your personal data with third parties, as detailed below:
      • Service Providers and Subcontractors, including data storage providers, IT vendors, data security services providers, fraud detection and prevention services, analysis services and performance measurement providers. We will share data to perform services on our behalf, depending on each of their specific roles, for operational, commercial and technical purposes.
      • Governmental, Administrative or Judiciary Authorities. We may disclose personal data in case of a subpoena, search warrant or court order (or similar requirement), or in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
