The Third Annual Athletes Forum

The Athletes Forum is the central gathering of Olympic athletes, past and present, initiated by the Athletes Committee of the Olympic Committee of Israel. This year’s meeting took place at SolarEdge offices and was attended by approximately 60 participants from various Olympic disciplines, ranging from the 1988 Seoul delegation to members of the Paris 2024 delegation.
During the event, a panel discussion was held on career transitions, featuring Noam Mills from fencing, Eran Sela from sailing, Alona Kushevatzky from rhythmic gymnastics, and Ron Darmon from triathlon.
The Athletes’ Commission works to represent the voices of athletes in various committees and the Olympic movement.
The committee is composed of nine active and former athletes: Committee Chairman Yaakov Tomarkin, Girma Amare, Maayan Davidovich, Peter Paltchik, Maor Tyouri, Shelly Bobritzky, Denis Loktev, Gili Cohen, and Nina Amir.
