The Olympic family embraces Kibbutz Beeri’s children

Today, a special Olympic sports day for the Be’eri community was held at Kibbutz Hatzerim, led by Olympic athletes, coaches, and representatives of the Olympic Committee of Israel.

During a difficult and emotionally charged period, everyone gathered – children, families, and athletes – to share moments of joy, unity, and hope.

The Olympic Committee of Israel has been accompanying the community of Be’eri for nearly two years, and with each new meeting, it is excited to return, strengthen, embrace, and bring joy to the community – and to inspire in the spirit of the Olympic values of friendship, respect, and excellence.

Throughout the day, participants enjoyed a variety of sports stations, including athletics, frisbee, baseball, taekwondo, and an interactive Olympic quiz station.

Today was especially exciting, full of connecting energy and moments of true hope – another testament to the fact that the power of sport is far greater than winning on the field. It can heal, unite, and give strength to move forward.
