The 25th Winter Olympic Games will be held between February 6th and 22nd, 2026, in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. The two Italian cities beat out bids from the Swedish cities of Örebro and Stockholm to host the 2026 Games, in a vote held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
For the first time, the Winter Games will be held in two different cities simultaneously.
Cortina d’Ampezzo will host the Winter Games for the second time, 70 years after the first Winter Games were held in the city in 1956.
