Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Artyom Dolgopyat captured floor bronze at the World Gymnastics Championships

Olympic gymnast Artyom Dolgopyat (Maccabi Tel Aviv), secured the bronze medal in the floor exercise final at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands, finishing with a score of 14.466.

This marks Dolgopyat’s fourth career World Championship medal, completing a full set of colors across his career (following gold in Antwerp 2023, and silvers in Montreal 2017 and Stuttgart 2019).

Dolgopyat made a triumphant return to the world podium after being barred from competing in the previous World Championships due to Indonesia’s refusal to issue visas to Israeli athletes.

In the final, American Frederick Richard captured the gold medal with a score of 14.633, while Great Britain’s Jake Jarman claimed the silver with 14.600.

The Israeli delegation celebrated an unprecedented, historic milestone under head coach Sergei Weissburg, as two blue-and-white gymnasts advanced to the floor final for the first time.

Fellow Maccabi Tel Aviv teammate Noam Berkovich delivered an impressive senior final debut, finishing 7th in the world with a score of 13.500.
