This morning, after much anticipation, the amazing graphic language for the Olympic Games was launched for the first time by the organizing committee, 842 days before the opening of the games.
The goal?
A visual experience that feels like Los Angeles – open, warm, and full of life, connecting athletes, the audience, and the city’s residents.
LA28 unveils the official design language of the games, based on the Superbloom concept, a rare natural phenomenon where a vibrant bloom bursts forth in intense colors.
The concept symbolizes the athletes’ peak moment, after years of preparation, and the energy and gathering of the world around the games.
The graphic language was designed to be flexible and multi-layered, from stadiums to digital experiences, while maintaining a clean and focused sports experience that combines inspiration from the past (LA 1984) with contemporary and innovative expression.
