Gashau Ayala (Maccabi Tel Aviv), won the individual bronze medal in the marathon at the European Athletics Championships taking place in Birmingham, UK.
Ayala finished his run in a fantastic time of 2:09:21 hours.
Tadesse Getahon (Hapoel Emek Hefer) also achieved an impressive feat by finishing in fifth place, while Aimro Alame (Hapoel Athleti Oren Kfar Saba) finished in eighth place.
