The “Moving the Needle” project of the Olympic Committee of Israel continues to support Israel’s sports disciplines on their journey toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games

The “Moving the Needle” project of the Olympic Committee of Israel continues to support Israel’s sports disciplines on the road to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

As part of the project, the Israel National Swimming Team is currently participating in a high-altitude training camp, as part of the professional program of the Israel Swimming Association, which includes a series of altitude training camps in preparation for the Olympic campaign.

Throughout the camp, the swimmers benefit from an advanced sports science support system that includes data collection, monitoring, and physiological testing. The goal is to optimize the training process, evaluate its impact, and maximize performance development on the journey to Los Angeles 2028.

The camp is supported by Muli Epstein, Scientific Director of the Olympic Committee of Israel; Ezekiel Frankel, physiologist of the Israel National Team from the Sports Medicine Center at the Wingate Institute; and Nir Schneider, the team’s sports nutritionist.
