At the European Taekwondo Championships in Munich, Germany, Rebecca Bayech ( 46 kg), opened her competition day with a win over an opponent from Bulgaria in the round of 16. She continued to the quarterfinals, where she defeated an opponent from Italy, and in the semifinals she lost to an opponent from Hungary, earning the bronze medal at the European Championships.
Alexandra Dan (49 kg) and Ariel Vigdor (57 kg) both finished in fifth place.
Tomorrow, Nimrod Krivitzky and Eitan Genzel (up to 68 kg) will enter the competition.
The delegation is accompanied by national coach Yechiam Sharabi, team coaches Roman Rusinov and Bat-El Getterer, and masseur Antonio Arbid.
