Kehat Shorr was born in Romania and devoted himself to marksmanship where he achieved  many  outstanding results. Shorr immigrated to Israel in 1963 and settled in Tel Aviv where he joined Hapoel and soon thereafter became one of their coaches. He spent much of his time training young marksmen and was able to impact the level of shooters in Israel thanks to his skills along with his organizational and professional talents. Shorr was the national team coach for the 20th Olympic Games in Munich and was 53 years old at the time of his death leaving behind his wife and married daughter. He is buried at the Kiryat Shaul cemetery.
